Executive Vice President, Europe, Rabin Martin

Francesca has spent twenty years in the arena of global health and development and has emerged as a trusted advisor for senior leaders in the private sector, multilateral organisations, governments, NGOs and foundations. At Rabin Martin, Francesca’s work focuses on supporting and growing a portfolio of European clients. Her expertise is wide-ranging and includes strategy and implementation plans for public-private partnerships, the development of policy frameworks (private and public sector), the creation of innovative global health advocacy plans vis-à-vis European donor governments, and innovative market access strategies for emergency situations in emerging markets.

Francesca previously served as the Head of Program Advocacy, Europe at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), where she played a key role in donor resource mobilisation strategies for the first GAVI replenishment, the Abu Dhabi Vaccine Summit, and the London Summit on Family Planning. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, the Director of The Global Health Initiative at The World Economic Forum, as well as the European Brand Manager for Actonel at Procter & Gamble.

Francesca sits on the advisory board of the Human Foundation and is the Founding Partner and Principal of Hillgate Partners. She actively advises a number of organisations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Comic Relief on their global health grant making portfolio. Francesca is also a PhD candidate at the London School of Economics School of Government.
