Melissa is the Managing Director of Porter Novelli’s Atlanta office and brings two decades of experience in social marketing, strategic planning, message development and positioning for a variety of clients, including CDC, CARE, Habitat for Humanity, Healthcare Georgia Foundation, the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations, Florida Department of Citrus and the Almond Board of California.
As a planner and facilitator, Melissa serves as a strategic guide helping clients determine and navigate towards their desired destination. Consistently rated by participants as an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer, Melissa has traveled around the globe conducting training on a variety of topics, including presentation skills, management, social marketing, behavior change theory and numerous research methodologies.
Melissa earned her MA in Health Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park. She loves teaching and for over a decade has taught Social Marketing at Emory University’s Graduate School of Public Health, where she was awarded Adjunct Faculty Honoree for Excellence.
